When we came to Baldwinsville last July, we intentionally decided to rent at house instead of buying right away.  First we did not have the money to put a down payment on a house, plus we wanted to get to know the area and life in ministry before we decided on a place to live.

Last weekend we found a place that we think we will be really happy living.

It is a four bedroom house sitting on 2+ acers of land.  The downstairs has one bedroom, a bathroom, a washer and dryer, a HUGE eat-in kitchen and a living room.  The upstairs has three bedrooms and a full bathroom.

I can already picture us living there, I can already start calling that our home.  I see myself building a nice fire-pit where we can go out during a nice summer night and cook hot dogs and s’mores.  I can see us hosting church groups for some volleyball or croquet.

I also see improvements that can be done on the house.  It is not perfect and there is work that can be done but I see that as an investment more than anything else.
